Wrapped in Plastic Issue 2

The second issue of  Wrapped in Plastic magazine hit the newsstands and comic book shops in December of 1992. It features a dramatic cover of Agent Cooper drawn by Co-Editor Craig Miller. The magazine seems to be taking shape of what it is about to become in the future. After getting a good response from fans writing in Craig Miller and John Thorne knew there was a demand for their magazine. Twin Peaks fans are dedicated and this was the best source for information at that time. Craig and John in this issue had a great article discussing the critics response to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and an interview Joe Bob Briggs the drive in movie critic and author of many books. The interview was one of those features of Wrapped in Plastic the readers would love to read and when you looked forward to the next issue you would wonder
who would be the next interview.

This issue features the all important character chart that shows the interconnected world of Twin Peaks, a must for any fan new and old! The magazine checklist was brought back for a part two in this issue, this shows you how popular the show was at it's peak. They were on cover after cover around the world, many issues are still sought after to this day. Good article in this issue called the Twin Peaks Library covers all the books published at that time, Laura Palmer's diary, Agent Cooper' autobiography and a few more such as the Twin Peaks access guide. The issue ends with the famous "The World Spins" article, this one mentions about the possibility of the uncut Fire Walk With Me coming out on Laserdisc. We still are waiting for that footage, hopefully one day we will see that version.Watch your favourite episode, enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cherry pie til the next Twin Peaks Thursday blog.
